Luciano Pavarotti (1935-2007) was an international star for over 40 years and one of the greatest tenors of any age. Best-suited to the operas of Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, and Puccini, Pavarotti gave exciting performances that became feats of virtuosity in the eyes of his public, especially when he was required to repeatedly use his top notes.
